Video Production Filming Service

from $1,000.00

A filming-only service designed for those who handle their own editing

This service is for people who want professional footage captured without outsourcing the entire production.

You handle the pre-production and the edit, covering things like planning, scripting, scheduling, and post-production. I handle the filming itself, including cameras, lighting, framing, audio, and everything needed to capture your vision properly.

Filming sessions are available as Full-day (up to 8 hours) or Half-day (up to 4 hours). Setup and pack-down are included within the booked time.

An optional Culling Service upgrade can be added before continuing if you’d like your footage prepared and ready to edit.

Session Length:

Who this is for

This service is perfect for businesses or agencies with an in-house video editor who just need reliable, high-quality footage captured. It’s also a great fit for creators who usually film with a phone or smaller setup and want to take things up a notch, as well as videography teams who need extra hands on larger projects.

Basically, if you’re comfortable handling the editing side and just need professional filming support, you’ll be a good fit here.

How it works

I offer full-day and half-day filming sessions where I handle all filming based on your brief.

You take care of the pre-production, things like scripting, scheduling, and creative direction. I take care of the filming itself, including lighting, framing, audio, and everything in between.

Filming takes place on location using my own professional camera, lighting, and audio gear.

What I can film

The types of projects I can film are broad and flexible. This includes product videos, ads, social media videos, podcasts, interviews, and ongoing content for marketing campaigns.

If you’ve got the concept and the editing covered, I can handle the filming.

File delivery methods

There are two delivery options you can choose from when it comes to receiving your footage:

Raw original files (standard)

By default, footage is delivered as raw original camera files, transferred on set at the end of the shoot. These files are exactly how they were recorded, straight from the camera, and are typically very large, often hundreds of gigabytes.

Because of their size, they’re transferred in person once filming wraps, so you’ll have your footage immediately. You’ll need to bring your own hard drive, or preferably an SSD for faster transfer, with plenty of available storage ready.

This option is best suited to professional editors or production teams who want full control in post-production for advanced colour grading and precise technical adjustments.

Optional culling service (upgrade)

For clients who want a faster, simpler starting point, an optional culling service is available. This removes anything clearly unusable, syncs audio where applicable, applies light audio adjustments, and includes a basic colour correction so the footage is clean, consistent, and ready to edit.

Because the overall file size is significantly smaller, this version can be delivered online rather than transferred in person.

The culling service can be added when booking your filming session.

Technical details (for those who want to know)

I use professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment, and I’m not tied to any specific brand. I choose the right tools based on the project rather than forcing everything into a fixed setup.

My current kit includes a mix of Canon and Sony cameras and lenses, along with professional lighting and audio gear. This evolves over time as I upgrade and refine my setup.

If your project has specific technical requirements, such as particular camera bodies, lenses, codecs, or workflows, feel free to email me to discuss this in advance.

In terms of capture, I use my discretion to select the most appropriate settings for the job. As a general guideline, most projects are filmed in 4K, often in log where appropriate. Talking-head style content is typically filmed at 25fps, while b-roll is often captured at 50fps for smoother motion or slow-motion playback.

If you or your editor have preferences or technical requirements, I’m always happy to accommodate where possible.

If you’d like to talk through your project or check availability, the best way to get started is to email me directly:
